林能暉老師(右圖前排5)所領導的研究團隊「雲與氣膠實驗室」成立於1993年,主要探討亞洲大氣污染物(例如:酸雨、沙塵暴、生質燃燒、亞洲褐雲)傳送過程之物理化學特徵,以及其對區域及台灣環境之影響。
Prof Lin is the group leader. Cloud and Aerosol Lab. is creative since 1993. Our group mainly study the physical and chemical characteristics of the transmission process of air pollutants in Asia and its impact on the regional and Taiwanese environment.
隨著許桂榮副教授(前排左4)與王聖翔副教授(前排右6)加入,增強了本團隊在大氣汞,與地面輻射遙之研究動力。在國內目前執行的計畫有:負責環保署全國酸雨監測網與桃園酸雨監測網,並在環保署及國科會卓越計畫補助下,建立雄視東南亞之鹿林山大氣背景站;在國際合作方面,以參與七海計畫為主:研究東南亞生質物理及化學特性,並探討下風處的台灣空氣品質之影響。本實驗室團隊所探討之科學議題及操作之先進儀器深具前瞻性及挑戰性,積極推動參與國際大型實驗,不只深耕本地,更是接軌世界。我們結合觀測與模擬,建立一套完整的區域環境問題研究方案

鹿林山大氣背景站(Lulin Atmoshperic Background Station,簡稱LABS),屬於玉山國家公園塔塔加地區,南投縣信義鄉與嘉義縣阿里山鄉交界,為東亞地區少有高山空氣品質背景測站,對於研究季風或大陸氣團出海的大氣物理、化學提供了寶貴資料。
The Lulin Atmospheric Background Station (LABS, 23.47°N 120.87°E, 2862 m ASL) in Central Taiwan was constructed in 2006 and is the only high-altitude background station in the western Pacific region for studying the influence of continental outflow.
